Telesun Unveils 570-590 W Solar Module Series

The new module series is available in five versions with a claimed power output of 570–590 W by Telesun and has a capacity of 20.3–21.0%.

Chinese PV manufacturer Telesun has launched its new Bistra Pro solar module series at the SNEC PV Power Expo in Shanghai this week.

The module, measuring 2,472 x 1,135 x 35 mm, weighs 31.5 kg and has 182 mm x 182 mm 156 monocrystalline cells, available in five versions with a power output claimed by Telesen of 570-590 W and 20.3–21.0% are reported.

According to the manufacturer, the maximum power voltage is 5 for the 60 V panel, 40 for the 40 V panel. Varies from 44 V, while open circuit voltage ranges from 52.9 to 53 .7 V.

The manufacturer said, Operating ambient temperatures range from -40 to 85 ° C,  and the maximum system voltage is 1,500 V. The panel has an anodized aluminium frame and 3.2 mm tempered glass. Its junction box has an IP 68 rating.

Telesun guarantees a 12-year product warranty and a 25-year power output. This guarantees for less than 2% attenuation in the first year and no more than 0.55% and 0.45% annual declines for single-glass and double-glass types, respectively.

According to the manufacturer, this new series can help project developers reduce the balance of system (BOS) by 4.4% and solar plant power (LCoE) levels by about 3% compared to traditional modules. The company said, "To reduce internal failures and losses, MBB (Mature multi bus bar) technology has been used." "And with a specially designed solar cell process and optimized configuration module production, the Bistra Pro series achieves excellent protection mechanisms against potential induced degradation (PID) phenomena, which is very effective for system power efficiency."

The module manufacturer also claims that advanced control technology has been used for the M10 gallium doped wafer to ensure very low LID and LETID attenuation.
