Adani Green Bags has a 600 MW wind-solar hybrid power unit project

The corporation accepted an LOA (Letter Of Offer) in December 2020 after it originated as the biggest bidder for a tender allocated by SECI to set up a solar-wind hybrid energy project of the capacity of 1,200 MegaWatt as interstate transmission system.



New Delhi(Natural Energy News): The company, headed by Gautam Adani, said the Adani Green Energy subsidiary had received a contract to build a 600 MW (MW) wind-solar hybrid power project.

The corporation accepted an LOA in December 2020 after it originated as the biggest bidder for a tender allocated by SECI to set up a solar-wind hybrid energy project of the capacity of 1,200 MegaWatt as interstate transmission system.


"The LOA of the 600 MW wind-solar hybrid power project is in line with our ambition to achieve 25 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2025 and become the world's largest renewable power company by 2030 and contribute significantly to India's decolonization goals: "Vineet Jain, Managing Director and Chief Executive Director, Adani Green Energy said in the statement.

The corporation has a portfolio of 14,795 MegaWatt, comprising of the operational capacity of 2,950 MegaWatt and projects in several phases of performance.
