New Delhi (Natural Energy News): State-owned Coal India (CIL) said on Tuesday that it recorded an average of 44 percent daily production and an average attendance of about 36 percent during the three-day strike by last week's labour unions. This calculation of average is based on an average of 10 days before July 2 - the first day of the three-day strike.

CIL said in a statement that despite the strike "coal miners produced 44 percent of the coal production compared to the first day of the strike, an average of 10 days".

Employees said that from the first day of the strike, the attendance of employees increased by an average of around 36 per cent during the three-day period.

According to the statement, the company can obtain around 58 percent OBR and coal composite from mines if the labour count it something more than one-third of the total labours.

OBR and coal composite means the amount of coal produced and the topsoil joint excavated. The OBR is an important performance parameter because it exposes the coal seam for future production at short notice.

The OBR during the mentioned strike days was 5.70 million cubic meters, 61 percent of the 10-day average.

The average CIL per day was producing 1.3 million tonnes (MT) of coal during the ten-day phase.

The company said that Coal India produced a total of 1.72 metric tonnes of coal and offered 1.60 metric tonnes to its customers during a three-day strike from July 2-4 by five central trade unions opposing the government's decision on commercial coal mining. Compensated.

CIL produced an average of 0.57 MT of coal per day and 0.53 MT of dry fuel over a three-day period. Whereas, the average of OBR and coal blended was 4.73 MT per day.

Though the work was affected due to the strike against coal auctions, the company's overall performance and output production is much better than before, said in a statement of officials of the companies.

Similarly, the reference for coal disposal was 38 percent of the ten-day average as CIL supply was 1.40 MT per day. The OBR and coal composites scored a high of 58 percent, an average of 8.14 metric tons per day

The total of OBR and coal mixed during the specified strike period was 14.20 MT.
