Lucknow, India (Natural Energy News): Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has initiated the Request for Selection (RfS) process for the establishment of a 5MW grid-connected solar PV power project in MAU District, Uttar Pradesh.

The RfS, identified as No. 02/UPNEDA/Solar PROJECT MAU/2024 and dated February 26, 2024, calls for the selection of a solar power developer to execute the project under the "Build Own Operate" model. The developer will be responsible for obtaining all necessary approvals, permits, and clearances for project implementation.

Key Dates and Requirements

A pre-bid meeting, as per the Notice Inviting Tender (NIT) on the ISN-ETS portal and UPNEDA website, will precede the bid submission process. Offline and online bid submissions are due by March 21, 2024, at 18:00 HRS. The techno-commercial bid opening is scheduled for March 22, 2024, at 12:30 PM. Eligible bidders will receive details about the e-Reverse Auction (e-RA) via email.

Financial and Submission Details

Interested bidders are required to pay a document fee of INR 25,000 plus 18% GST, totaling INR 29,500. Additionally, an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of INR 8.0 lakh per MW, totaling INR 40.0 lakh for the entire project, must accompany the bid submission.
