Union Power and New & Renewable Energy Minister R.K. Singh emphasizes that MAHIR acts as a catalyst for national priorities such as achieving net-zero emissions and promoting initiatives like 'Make in India' and 'Startup India.' The mission's efforts align with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), contributing to the global sustainability agenda.




Fostering Innovation Ecosystem:

Power Secretary Alok Kumar highlights that MAHIR aims to foster collaboration between industry, academia, and the government, creating a robust innovation ecosystem in the power sector. Premier institutions such as IITs, IIMs, NITs, IISERs, and universities will partner with the mission, alongside startups and established public and private sector entities.
