Patel Engineering placed an order of Rs 1,564 crore for the construction of 2GW hydroelectric project in Arunachal

The project mainly consists of HRT (Head Race Tunnel) intake structures, tailrace channels etc. including the remaining civil works of the powerhouse complex.


New Delhi (Natural Energy News): Patel Engineering said on Tuesday that it has won an order of Rs 1,564.42 crore for the construction of 2,000 MW Subansiri Lower Hydro Electric Project in Arunachal Pradesh. The company said in a statement that it would be the single largest hydroelectric project in India.





The project is located at Kolapatukar in Kamle (formerly Lower Subansiri) district of Arunachal Pradesh.

The project consists of the remaining civil works of the powerhouse complex including HRT (Head Race Tunnel) intake structures, tailrace channels etc. with the main components.

Patel Engineering is a civil construction company focused on the hydropower sector.
